The boys had fun laying on the guest room bed while I put Oliver’s clean clothes away the other day. He’s still sleeping in our room, but obviously his clothes need to go somewhere, so the guest room it is!
Look at this smiley boy! I can’t believe he’ll be 4 months old on Saturday! He’s not a newborn anymore, and I don’t like it! He seriously needs to stop growing up so fast.
Grayson is starting to be really sweet with Oliver. If I lay him down and Grayson is nearby, he’ll come and lay next to his little brother.
Sometimes a little too close! Haha! But I’m so glad he’s starting to show some love towards him. If he sees Oliver’s pacifier laying around, he’ll come bring it to me or better yet, try to put it in Oliver’s mouth. He’ll point out different body parts on Oliver if I ask him where they are, and he enjoys bouncing him in the jumperoo. I haven’t yet been able to get him to hold Ollie in his lap, but hopefully that day will come soon because I want a picture!!!
Love my sweet boy! Speaking of growing up too fast, Grayson will be two years old on May 24th!!! That’s only 10 days away!!! I’ll no longer be able to refer to his age in months. He’s going to be a 2 year old. How is that possible?
He sure does bring a lot of joy to our lives. Lately when I’ve put him to bed, he’ll wrap his arms around my neck while I rock him. Sometimes he’ll pat my back when he does this. It’s the sweetest thing! I think it’s his way of telling me that he loves me, even if he can’t actually say the words yet.
Speaking of words, “jump” is one of Grayson’s new favorite words. He loves to jump, and says “jump” every time he does. It’s one of the few words he says that actually sounds like the real word!
Meanwhile, Oliver is plumping up nicely…..go me! Breastfeeding is going great, and Oliver definitely likes to eat! I wasn’t able to breastfeed Grayson longer than 3 weeks because of the pain and mastitis, but luckily I haven’t had any issues with Oliver, and I’m happy to say that he hasn’t had a single drop of formula since he’s been born. (Not that there’s anything wrong with formula. Grayson was a formula fed baby.)
The many faces of Grayson.
Hazel eyes just like his mommy. Oliver still has light grayish blue eyes, and I know Steve is hoping he gets his blue eyes. He certainly got his dark brown hair! Grayson takes after me more in the hair department. 🙂
“Let go, Mommy!!!! I’m not done playing!” Ahh, boys!
